The IL categories require you to reach a certain salvage percentage in order to complete the run. But the percentage is only shown when pausing the game, which is not ideal.

For this reason, we've decided to allow the use of a tool to display your current salvage percentage in real-time, on top of the game.

The use of this tool is allowed, but entirely OPTIONAL.

The Shipbreaker Companion tool does that for you. An important point is that it is NOT a mod. It only reads memory, without altering the game in any way.

In the Shipbreaker Companion window, you'll see a red eye on the bottom marked as "Salvage tracking". While you're running the game, click the "Start tracking" button and go back to the game. When you start salvaging a ship, you should see the stats appear next to the eye, that should now turn green.

If you want to display the percentages on top of your game while you're playing, click the "Pop out" button. This will make a display of the same percentages also show up transparently above all other windows. If you move your cursor above the display, 2 buttons will show up. The top one will close the display, and the bottom one will allow you to drag the display around if you want to move it.
