This is a new strategy I discovered that saves several seconds off the previous strat. Just like with the old strat, start the game and immediately head to the left. Keep your mouse in the lower left hand corner to click the match book as soon as possible. From what I've experienced, it is best to turn around, then click, then exit the room because sometimes Garfield will just kind of moonwalk through the loading zone if you don't. This may just be a problem with firefox however. Continue walking until you reach the furnace room, then activate it and immediately exit. Hit the skull on your way back to the room on the left to slight boost your scare-o-meter. It is possible to hit it twice, but I haven't experimented enough with it to say if it is worth it or not. Under the old strat, you would spam click the barrel until you were scared enough to lose, and the fastest time was about 30 seconds. However, I found you can click on the barrel, then exit to the room above after getting scared. Then you can click on the wardrobe, which also scares you, and head back down to the room below and repeat until the run ends. This strat saves about 3 seconds because you don't have to worry about cooldowns in-between scares and it might be possible to achieve sub 27 or sub 26 using this trick.
