The game's mechanics for the main stages and characters are as follows.

[i'll separate into different guides for enemies, bonus stages and hidden paths].

You have to collect flags to win each stage.

Each stage is divided in 3 normal rounds plus a bonus round.

The first player to collect a flag can keep getting flags, while the other is "It", the "It" player cannot collect flags and must tag(touch) the opposite player to be able to collect flags.

You and your opponent can use some abilities to make collecting flags and slowing down the other easier, and those are as follows:

Bridge - You and your opponent can summon a temporary bridge, Bog is an enemy that can summon 2 bridges at a time.

Shoot - Fires a projectile that can be upgraded up to lvl 5 (starting at lvl 1), this can destroy mines, neutral enemies and freeze the target for a certain number of frames, depending on the level of the shot.

Teal Mines - Players can drop these behind them, at the cost of some magic. It knocks the opposite player down and slows them, computer opponents rarely use this.

Speed up - As simple as it gets, this is a spell that speeds you up at the cost of magic.

Teleport - You can teleport! specifically to blank tiles on the map, holding a direction usually can influence where you teleport to, but the game seems to prioritize the nearest tile from your current position. (costs a lot of magic).

Slow spell - This one shoots homing teal bullets that slow down the enemy, computer opponents really like using this one and it also takes a lot of magic to cast it.
