In this clip I appear to be about to die to carnation, I jumped (not very high) and somehow didn't die to carnation, I don't know if this is a glitch or if I accidentally parried

Something similar happened to me kind of, I couldn't die to carnation, but just specifically carnation. Idk how tf it happened, but carnation couldn't hit me no matter what. I could still take eye damage and die to any other entity, just not carnation.

There is a technique that is the parry, with that technique you can "parry" carnation
