For line breaks in rules/guides (which follow markdown syntax), write double space at the end of each line.

Something like this:

Line 1 <-- 2 spaces here Line 2

That most likely is because the formatting method for rules has been changed to markdown formatting. Your problem specifically should be solved by adding two spaces behind each line or just insert another line break.
