As the title says, how did you stumble upon speedrun.com in the first place? I want to know the stories of how you all arrived. I'll go first, I was looking to see if there was such thing as Stardew Valley speedruns and I found the Stardew Valley leaderboard and I decided I wanted to speedrun it, but after scrolling around for a while I decided to speedrun The Escapists 2 as my first game instead, to this day I still want to do a Stardew Valley speedrun, but I haven't done it. Ok your stories of how you landed here:

I knew what speedrunning was because of a New Super Mario Bros. TAS. 

I found the site because my sister @Cactus_Kez showed me a video made by @JaidenAnimations , and she kept mentioning "speedrun.com" and one day I was like "I wonder if there is such thing as speedrun.com." So looked it up, found some games I liked, and bing bang boom I created this account. 

The first game I ever found speedruns of was The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It was a really cool speedrun and I looked online for a website to see runs. And then voila, speedrun.com. 

cant remember at all but possibly just heard it while watching sm64 speedrun streams in 2015-2016

I don't really remember how I found this website. I think it was... I was searching for a game to Speed Run which was, 

- Tony Hawk's Underground 1 
- Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4
- Midnight Club III: Dub Edition Remix
- Need For Speed: Underground
- Need For Speed: Underground 2 

I found those games on this website. And, I wanted to try to Speed Run those games. 

I was really into Xevious a few years ago and looking for Xevious content online, then the game’s page on this site came up as a search result.

i was interested in speedrunning since 2020, i didnt know there was a site to submit them, until i went ahead and did a riddle school speedrun, i looked on youtube where i can submit them and found out about this website, i created my account and started submitting my runs

I found sr.c through haloruns.com, since they were hosting their category extension boards here.

Normally I was speedrunning games on no purpose, Until my friend told me there's a site for speedruns, I made my account and submitted my speedrun, Then since this time, I'm a sr.c addict, Mostly for moderation stuff, With over 700 unique runs I examined.

All the thank goes to @YUMmy_Bacon5 and @RAYHoRRorrs for giving me more interest on this site overall, They're truly such a lads and good friends.
