Alright, I thought of a new speedrun for Flood Escape 2.
Beat all the maps as fast as possible. With the rules I shall now give, this could have a lot of strategy involved, making this fun to do. You will have to reset sometimes to lower the intensity, but what maps you reset on can change the outcome of the run.
Rules: You must start at intensity 1.
You cannot buy maps.
You cannot boost the intensity.
If you have the All Maps gamepass you must only choose from the top 3 maps, unless its crazy, then you must chose the first one.
No glitches.
Deaths are allowed, as they lower the intensity.
If a new map is added to the game, runs are removed. Giving people a chance to improve with the new map.
Tell me what you think of this, I thought this could be a fun thing to do for people who have a lot of time on thier hands. Ill call it All%.
Removing all runs would quite rough for each new map that’s added. It would already be a super long run as it is.
Note you would also have to remove all the runs if just one map is updated.
Fair point, maybe just make a updated category for when a new map is released?
So all runs will stay but will remain on the leaderboards for the rest of time unless the map gets removed.
And if a map is updated then depending on what the update is, it could either block a small or a huge shortcut, if the category is made, and updates come that block a total of 5 or more seconds of shortcuts, a new category for said new updates will be made.
Like minecrafts speedrunning leaderboard, one of the updates didnt change enough to get its own leaderboard.
so are shortcuts allowed? cause I want to know if I can do shortcuts
Shortcuts are part of FE2, its hightly unlikely no shortcuts is gonna be a rule, use shortcuts to you escaping desire lol.
Henlo this is your local FE2 speedrunning mod Nolyswag and I'd just like to recommend for people to use velocity display during runs to maximize the odds of your run being verified (it just helps confirm that your run is legit).
