(Ik nobody cares) I'm thinking if quitting speedrunning because it's starting to get kinda boring, I just feel like I never get much runs on it anyways, I'm horrible at it, for the past 3 years of playing roblox I haven't improved my skills one bit, it's just that I feel lik nobody cares about my runs and easily just takes away my WRs without any effort when the Techless% came out. I have like 11 WRs and now with only 2 left, it's still something and I do like that, but I bet to myself everyday when I come to check that they're beaten. I just feel like quitting as i never really helped the community and is just some... guy who is just lame. I didn't make this expecting for people to be like "no no don't!!" to feel like I am somebody, though that would be really appreciated. I'm just making this to let everybody know that I probably won't be speedrunning here anymore, I might stay but it's just a thought I most likely won't come back.

Speedrunning isnt fun if all you care about is wr. But if you're too competitive stopping is gonna help mentally.

usually, i aim for pbs more than wrs, and I still feel happy about it. just saying i won't stop you from quitting, but it's just a thought in mind. (basically, adding on to what snyvie said)

Speedrunning can get bland and stale after a bit because it's just repetition. Also when you're really competitive you feel pressure, especially when you're one of the top speedrunners. It means you're constantly speedrunning, even if it's boring for you, so it just doesn't have a taste. I really think that if you're bored or completely sick of speedrunning, you should definitely quit and switch for a better option, as it's better for your mental health. The pressure can truly be draining.

Umm, I know what you mean, I'm not competitive though but I understand why you think I am. Its not aiming for the Wr so much, because I know I can't. It's I can't get much runs thats actually good. I do like speedrunning, as I spend lot's of time on it, it's just I dont get much runs which I like to submit. This doesn't mean I'm trying to put my best runs on to act cool, because everybody knows I'm not. And like shiny said, I aim for PBs rather than Wrs, as I know I don't have the capability for it. That's another reason why I don't get much successful runs. And I never really helped the community, other than submit runs.
