There are a few settings in the options that are useful/important for the speedrun.

Display options:

• "Real Tree" should be set to "low". This makes branches and leaves not move in the wind, making trickshot lineups much easier.
• "Geometry" should be set to a minimum of "high". This adds more branches to trees, adding more options for trickshot lineups. Some of the trickshot lineups used in the current WR are only visible with this setting.

Controls:

• Misc > Quick Save & quick Load This is just my opinion, and not necessary for the speedrun. I recommend rebinding "quicksave" and "quickload" to any extra mouse buttons you may have, or at least buttons that are easier to reach than F5 and F9, since you will be quicksave/quickloading a lot, and often while on the move. You may be able to program mouse buttons to "press" F5 and F9, if the game won't let you rebind those actions, as is the case for me.
