Grabbing v1.0.11 using DepotDownloader

**Tutorial for Getting any version of Everhood using DepotDownloader** 

1.  Download the latest version of Depot Downloader: [https://github.com/SteamRE/DepotDownloader/releases/latest](https://github.com/SteamRE/DepotDownloader/releases/latest "https://github.com/SteamRE/DepotDownloader/releases/latest") 

2. Extract it and navigate to that folder. 

3. Shift - right click in the folder and select *Open Powershell window here*

4. Type the following command in: 

*dotnet DepotDownloader.dll -app 1229380 -depot 1229381 -manifest [Version ID] -username [Steam Username] -password [Steam Password]*

 Replace *[Version ID]* , *[Steam Username] and [Steam Password]* with the relevant stuff. (Make sure to remove *[ and ]*) 

5. If you have steam guard, it will ask you for the pin after entering the above. Version 1.0.11's id is *9004346172252630095*. Other ids can be found on steam.db: [https://steamdb.info/depot/1229381/manifests/](https://steamdb.info/depot/1229381/manifests/ "https://steamdb.info/depot/1229381/manifests/")

Q. I have a space or other special character (e.g. *<* or *?* or other characters) in my username/password and it throws an error. 

Surround your username or password in *"* and it should work. 

Q. I'm getting the error: *dotnet : The term 'dotnet' is not recognized*

Q. I'm getting the error: *Unable to login to Steam3: RateLimitExceeded*

Your gonna need to wait. Steam doesn't like people attempting to login too much. Try again in like 5 min or an hour.



How to Install the Official Speedrun Version (1.0.1) of the game

Step 1:
click on the cog icon on the everhood game page in steam and chose the last option "Properties"

Step 2:
Click on "Betas" on the side bar

Step 3:
Click the bar that says "None"

Click on the "speedrun" option.

Step 4:
Close the window and you should be Ready to Run.

HOW TO RETIME IL'S (Individual Levels) TO THE FRAME

Download "Avidemux" from here:

 https://www.fosshub.com/Avidemux.html

Open the software, and drag your video file into the viewer window.
Mark the frame the RETRY Cursor disapears with [A] and mark the frame where the screen is FULLY WHITE/BLACK and Red's sprite is gone with [B]
See your time under "Selection"

Save your new video by going under FILE and then choosing SAVE, it should have it's own icon.

NOTE: This only applies to the Mine Cart IL at the time of this post, but it can be used for other speedrun games in a similar way.

WHEN YOU MARK A and B, the saved video will only be between those selections.
