please excuse my questions this may be common knowledge for you but i am relatively new to ultrakill and speedrun.com

1. Record? sure though I'd recommend obs myself. Submit? No. All run's must either be submitted through youtube or as a twitch clip.
2. Run's can be on whatever difficulty you prefer, though often there is an optimal difficulty. What difficulty you may ask? well that depends on the run, generally though if your killing enemies you should probably go violent. If your not killing anything or killing very few things, then harmless. But again, depends what your running.
3. Rank does not matter unless your submitting to P% as obviously it'd need to be a P-Rank to submit to those boards, otherwise if your submitting a run to Any% the rank does not matter.
4. The start door will open quicker to accommodate for higher speeds such as slam storage, but other methods of speed such as an ultraboost will require you to wait for the door to open first. Generally the door starts to open once you walk down the steps.
5. The poll will close when the next update comes out, which based on what I've been hearing will either be late this month or early next month.
