Recently got a download to the version 2.0.0.8 of Left 4 Dead 2. For some odd reason, I'm getting this error:

Can't find background image 'materials/console/background03.vt Can't find background image 'materials/console/background05.vt Can't find background image 'materials/console/background01.vt

Any ideas on why I'm getting this error?

I'll PM you on Twitch with the fix that worked for me. It doesn't work for everyone, though, so you might have to use v2.0.2.7 instead, in that case.

EDIT - Issue im getting now (after finding a fix) is "Unable to load manifest file 'scripts/surfaceproperties_manifest.txt'"

I'm not sure how to fix that other error, maybe a re-installation?
