Chainsaw Mia 2-hit Kill

Last night there was some boss optimizing going on in distortions stream so I decided to make some attempts myself.

It seems like you can clip into her hit box and one swing connects multiple times.

The execution is semi-consistent but it allows you to take her out in 2 swings (ignore the 3rd swing as she was already in her death animation).

Just wanted to share this in case there are other bosses with exploitable hitboxes for faster kills.

I think trance found the exact same thing yesterday too; I've already tested it and it is consistent, and I plan to test it with other bosses with the knife too, just to see whats possible.

I find occasionally if Mia decides she wants to move in an awkward direction you can always get that first spray hit, which halves her health essentially, so even if you can only get one hit you're already ahead on time

This shows that you can hit multiple hitboxes of a boss at once. (Dammages are pre-calculated with the distance and the weapon)

It proves it for melee if nothing else; since bullets are calculated by line as far as I'm aware, you can't hit multiple with one shot, but melee and perhaps the burner (or maybe even grenades?) are more "coned AOE" (im calling it area of effect since so long as the enemy is within your field of attack and they're within range it will damage them) so when you throw the melee strike, the game doesn't differentiate between the hitboxes because you're stuck within the enemy. Theres a lot of testing to be done here

I was indeed thinking about grenades, I think if you shot a grenade from inside your enemy, it can hit multiple hitboxes at the same time. For bullets indeed the game just calculate the line.

As far as grenades go it'd need to be tested, and even if we found it was correct im wondering where it might even save time; with the melee sure we already know a timesave, with grenades I dunno. Im going to get on testing if we can even get inside jack during the chainsaw fight, and if we can if we can hitbox the shit out of him.

I managed to get the coveted 1-hit kill on recording finally.

It's pretty difficult to do consistently, not sure if she needs to move correctly after landing as well.

Has anyone found HP / Damage values in this game through Cheat Engine?

I asked Cursed yesterday actually if on his data mining travels he's ever come across them or that in future if he did happen by them It'd be fantastic to know them. Theres the potential we can like you said Liv just view it in a cheat engine though; I'd really like to know them

This is literally the most aggravating thing for me right now. Mia seems so damn random after the first hit, regardless of how many times it actually hits her. Rarely does she stagger forward, most of the time she just shrugs it off and does the 180 slash.

Yea I think her movement DURING the first hit has a lot to do with it. That clip came from a good 30 minutes of attempts and I only managed to get it a few times.

No, it's consistant and it cames from the fact that she got no solid hitbox from the back.

so my question is, how many hits would it take in madhouse? Anyone know?

Madhouse is risky; its definitely a lot safer to use the pistol and finish her with the axe if you miss shots; i reckon it could take 5-8 clipped hits, considering the most you can get on her while she's down is 2 or 3 I don't think an entire madhouse clip kill is possible, not to mention if you mess up you die nearly instantly

Quick question, is anyone trying to find a consistent way for this, for one, I'm having trouble trying to replicate this.

I kept grinding this for hours until I realized that changing the FPS setting in-game from 60 to variable does the trick. People have also mentioned V-Sync, although changing that didn't have an effect in my case.

If you're struggling, try switching your FPS setting and V-sync
