# Basic Setup

1. Download LiveSplit ( https://livesplit.org/downloads ) and extract the file on your computer

2. Run "LiveSplit.exe"

3. Right Click on LiveSplit and select "Edit Splits..."

4. In the "Game Name" field select "ENDER LILIES: Quietus of the Knights"

5. Press "Activate", then "OK"
*5b. -optional- You can access the Auto Splitter settings here, more details in the section below*
**(if you're running Map100% you want to uncheck "Reset", if you're not usings splits you want to uncheck "Split")**

6. Right Click on LiveSplit and select "Edit Layout..."

7. Press "(+)" > "Timer" > "Timer"

8. Double Click on the 1st "Timer" in the list

9. In "Timing Method" select "Game Time", press "OK"

10. Double Click on the 2nd "Timer" in the list

11. In "Timing Method" select "Real Time", press "OK"

12. Press "OK"

13. Congratulation, you are now ready to Run !


# Load Remover and Auto Splitter Settings

1. "Start": start timer when selecting a game slot
2. "Split": advance to next split when reaching each of the selected trigger
3. "Reset": reset timer when going back to main menu unless you've completed all splits **(Map 100% runners should disable that option to prevent the timer resetting after Ending C)**
4. "Load Remover": pause the timer during loading screens
5. Splits Settings: for each option selected LiveSplit will move on to the next split when you complete that objective in the game

Downpatching on STEAM via DepotDownloader (old)

# Step by Step
*"DepotDownloader" is a third party software unaffiliated with Steam/Valve. Use at your own discretion*

**It is once again possible to downpatch games directly through Steam without the need of external software. To do so, follow [this guide](https://www.speedrun.com/enderlilies/guide/b0yln) instead.**

1. Download [DepotDownloader](https://github.com/SteamRE/DepotDownloader/releases) and extract the files on your computer

2. Download and install dotnet 5.0 https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet/thank-you/runtime-5.0.10-windows-x64-installer


 3. Create a text file in the folder where you extracted DepotDownloader and open it with your favorite text editor

 4. Write the text below inside the file, replace *USER* and *PASS* by your Steam credentials and *MANIFESTID* by the manifestID of targeted patch found on [that page](https://steamdb.info/depot/1369631/manifests/)

 5. Rename your text file by changing the extension to .bat

 6. Double click on your .bat file and wait for the game to download
 *6b. If you have "Steam Guard" you will receive a code by mail that you need to enter*

 7. You will find the game In the "depots" folder

Downpatching via Steam-Console on Windows

First we need to gain access to the Steam Console.

To do so, press the Windows Key + R.
A window should pop up.
Type in "steam://open/console" and hit enter.

If Steam is already running, the Console should appear.
Otherwise you will have to log-in first.

At the bottom of the console you can enter commands.

To download a previous version, we use the "download_depot" command followed by the app, depot & manifest ID.
You can look up specific details on [this page here](https://steamdb.info/depot/1369631/manifests/) .

Some relevant examples:
* * Patch 1.0.3 manifest ID is 4447225043679556471
* Patch 1.0.6 manifest ID is 2363071559785156567
* Patch 1.1.1 manifest ID is 7798645032494420073
* Patch 1.1.4 manifest ID is 4725871885334222236

So, to download 1.0.6, we do 
download_depot 1369630 1369631 2363071559785156567

Patch 1.0.3 would be
download_depot 1369630 1369631 4447225043679556471

etc.

Wait for the files to download (it's a bit over 1GB so it may take a while).
You should find the files under "Steam\steamapps\content\app_1369630\depot_1369631".
