Boyfriendless Dungeon Guide!

Welcome to Boyfriendless Dungeon - where the goal is to date and reach max love with Valeria, Rowan, and Sawyer as fast as possible! Keep in mind that we can ONLY date Valeria, Rowan, and Sawyer. This means we must route around story triggers very carefully, such as going on Pocket’s first “date” in order to trigger the July 4th BBQ story event and unlock Rowan. This route is heavily dependent on the double love bonus provided by Valeria’s whetstone in order to quickly hit max love with Sawyer and Rowan. Finding gift recipes in Vaults and ingredients are very important so we spend less time leveling our blades in the dunj. Below I have provided important notes, terminology, and math for reference, as well as a recommended route! # Important Notes

“Passing time” 
          -some events in the game will not trigger unless you do other events such as: dates or entering/leaving dunj. Story events and Rowan’s dates both require passing time in order to advance so it is recommended to do other events, crawling a dunj, or just entering & immediately leaving a dunj.
	  -Events that require time passing:
               -Valeria’s 1st Date, BBQ, Birthday, Rowan dates, Jessie & Eric texts, Katana


# Story Triggers

	
	Seven is NOT required to pick up (sorry dude)
		*Always read Jessie’s texts and Eric’s (until Katana)
		*Beating La Rosa boss is NOT required
	-Valeria’s 1st Date requires answering her text while in first dunj dive
	-Jessie’s mandatory Eric date and Valeria’s 1st Date are required to reenter dunj
		-Due to bug, you have to quit & reload save after Valeria’s date
	-BBQ (in order)
		-requires Olivia’s date (available after Date 2)
		-requires Valeria Date 2, Pocket Date 1, Sawyer Date 1
		-pass time twice
	-Rowan
		-BBQ complete
		-lots of time passing for dates as indicated further below
	-Birthday
		-Picking up every weapons except Seven
		-reading Jessie’s texts
		-passing time
	-Katana requires reaching at least La Rosa floor 5
	-Love 5 & 6 (Valeria)
		- Love 5: Birthday & Eric’s texts
		- Love 6: La Rosa Deeps (Floor 9)
			

Rowan sequence: First meeting (mansion) -> pass time -> note -> pass time -> Date 1 (mansion)-> lvl -> Date 2 (mansion) - Date 3 (Park) -> pass time -> Date 4 (mansion)-> pass time -> Date 5 (Church) -> pass time -> Date 6 (mountains)

Sawyer sequence: Date 1 (Kicks) -> lvl up -> Date 2 (apt) -> Date 3 (cat cafe) -> Date 4 (apt) -> Answer Test text -> Date 5 (apt) - Date 6

# Gifts

	-Gifts are found two ways: Vaults and Shops. Gifts from Vaults are recipes
	-Routing ingredients for recipes is very important as certain materials are only available in specific dunjs
		-sugar, wire, glass, plastic (Mall)
		-liquid, glass, glue, steel, Holy/Dark (La Rosa)
	-Shops have gifts but their prices are too high for a speedrun
		-Secret Shop (Mall)
			-Digital Camera (70)
			-Blue & Red Lipstick (50)
		-El Granero
			-Tickets (80-110)

# Maxing Love

	- 845 total Love is required to unlock all dates for a character
	-Valeria’s whetstone doubles all love and uncaps Love, so finish her first!
	-Maxing Rowan/Sawyer
		-if one of them is maxed before you exit dunj, switch to the other so they will get the 2x(10% of XP) bonus when leaving!

-Love bonuses (La Rosa w/whetstone):
			-Hangouts (+60)
			-Floor clear (+60)
			-Gifts (100-150)
		-Dunj Exit Math (rough math
		2x(10% of XP rounded down from enemies killed, discovering secret, leaving alive, clearing floors, opening vaults, etc)
			-10 love per floor completed
			-10 love per Vault opened
			-10 love for Secret (one per dunj clear)
			-5 love for leaving alive	
# Suggested Route
	
Enter dunj -> survive post-Sunder waves (only 2 of them)
get to valeria -> answer her text in the mall (to immediately unlock date text in apt)
die or get to floor 3
talk to jesse for Eric date
Val Date 1 (no gift)
stay in apartment & reload last save (otherwise can’t enter dunj due to bug)
Val Date 2 (no gift) (should be after exiting floor 5)
Answer Jesse text, do Olivia date, Answer Jessie & Eric texts
Val 3 (no gift) (should be after floors 7 or 9)
Val 4  (Choose these options: Hide from Jake, Enter Apt) (can be before or after Moth)
Moth Boss -> Pick up Sawyer
Enter La Rosa -> Get Pocket
