# HOW TO AUDIO-CANCEL

## It's not that hard;

Context you can skip if you dont care:

(Nobody asked a single question about my speedrun probably because nobody cares, but this is how I achieved my times)

### Quick note:

This might only work on Windows.

### Step 1:

Grab a controller that your PC recognizes as an audio output device.

### Last step:

Plug a USB cable that's connected to your PC into the controller. This will stop any audio playing in game.

### Why this works:

I don't really know but I assume it has got to do with how Unreal Engine handles audio devices and audio playback.

What I know:

The audio playback gets stopped which the game recognizes as the audio track to be complete, prompting the game to continue with what should happen after the audio is done.

### In short:

The game doesn't rely on a timer for it's cutscenes but instead on if the audio has ended, which we can exploit by stopping the audio and therefor the cutscene prematurely saving us time.
