I used a different technique here than in other runs. Mercator will give you tens of thousands of adventurer points if you complete the world map using cartography, so the premise here is that it's actually quicker to just explore the map without searching for discoveries (except at the beginning, when they're required for initial fame and money).

My overall play was really bad on this run, and I had some bad luck. But I think that emphasizes that this might be a good method, even if it is boring as heck to do.
