Any% Speedrun Video Tutorial - [NO CUTSCENES] Codes for both JP and US versions

This tutorial is for anyone interested in learning the Any% speedrun for Dino Crisis. All that you need to know for the run in one video. SCROLL DOWN in the YouTube description to find a list of time stamps of all the codes and puzzles throughout the video. You will also find a link to the raw uncut run without commentary. The final time for this run is 1:16:46 and was recorded locally offline. 

Although this tutorial is demonstrated on the Japanese PC version, it can be used for the USA version as well as any platform. I included the codes for both US and JP versions, depending on which one you are running (Japanese is faster) as well as notable differences between them.

I edited out the cutscenes for convenience sake, as this guide is all about gameplay (not to mention you will be seeing a lot of the cutscenes anyhow, I'll save you the trouble of watching them as you learn the speedrun). Any cutscenes that are left in are due to their integral nature with the speedrun itself.

Emergency Box Contents Guide

Figured throwing this up here would help anyone who might need it for routing or buffer strats. Also figured having this in a place where people will know where to look would be more helpful than having to pull up google every time and hunting for the answers that way. 

The contents of each area's E Box is the same every time and will always require the same number of plugs. There's three different kinds of boxes: Green, Red, Yellow.  Green will hold only medical supplies, Red will hold only ammunition, while Yellow will contain a mix of both (and are fewer in number compared to Red and Green boxes). While Green and Yellow only require 1 plug each, Red is the most variable of all of them, requiring anywhere from 1 to 3 plugs. The amount of plugs needed for the Red boxes are noted next to their location. Take that into consideration when you're considering what boxes you want to utilize.

I've sorted these boxes in the order in which you would encounter them during your run:

Hardware Acceleration Fix for Win8 / 8.1 (All Re1-3 + Dino Games)

Now i had a problem which made my Hardware Acceleration "dissapear" for older games / games that use DirectDraw Engine and stuff.
This is in this case the ResidentEvil Series for PC and DinoCrisis 1 & DinoCrisis 2 . The reason is that the old games are made and use the DirectX 32bit Engine - which is in Win8 and 8.1 64bit Systems particially dissabled this leads into people only can use RGB Emulation on those Games. Now the Solution works for almost every "older" game and luckly for us we just need to check a little box.

You can either do a long "workaround" via the Windows-Registry or use this nice little tool that Windows does not come with by default which is a simple DirectX-Control Panel.

Now after downloading the zip and extracting the files, run the x86.exe of the two files (dxcpl_x86) .
After opening go to the "DirectDraw" Panel and Check "Use Hardware Acceleration" 
(See Screenshot for details here :  http://i.imgur.com/5njoOkO.jpg ) 

Now simply click "Apply" and you're ready to go. For some Games like RE3 jp version i had to activate WinXP-SP3 compatibility mode.
But this is optional and might not apply to everyone.

Now just Change the Graphic Settings back to your GPU (as you might used to have) and you're ready to go and get a new WR..maybe #Kappa

Ps3 Controller (MotionJoy Fix on Win 8.1 / 10 )

Set Date to xx.xx.2014 before Installing and plugging in the PS3 controller.
Install DS3 Tool / MotionJoy App.
Plug-In Controller and click "Install All" on the Device Tab
Wait.... success! 

Reason for that is that the MotionJoy Drivers certificated "expired" 2014.

After installing and test if everything is working you are free to set back the original date.
