The first area should be the fastest of your run, and your bets bet is to beat it in under 10 minutes. 

(BEGINNING)
-By Day 7, have all of the Items on the Menu in Darla's Cafe.
-Purchase the Gorilla Ad every day.
-Skip the Newspaper (Early on, you're okay to skip it, by skipping it, you can save several seconds)

(MIDDLE)
-Around Day 12-15, purchase the Wrangler and get Barn Burnin' Chili

Keep buying Ads, changing stock, etc.
