Since I started a post on the Other Digimon World Neo about 100% but to that it has been finished and done as a RTA.

I'm no longer a mod of the Digimon Series community, but this has been previously discussed by mods and other members of the community, and from what I remember, there is a unanimous agreement to reject the run based on two fundamental criteria consistent with Digimon Speedruns.

1. The playthrough was done over a period of days with the stream turned off for several hours in between. It's neither single-segment nor provable to be true RTA--having a timer running off-stream does not qualify.

2. Prosperity Points is the primary criteria for in-game progress since no percentage counter exists. 100% is an arbitrary name that's not well defined by any objective standard. 200 Prosperity points, on the other hand, would be considered the longest main category of the game since the goal is not disputable.

Essentially just +1ing what KHeartz said. As he said, 100% is a subjective goal for a game like this. The closest clear cut definition I could see would be getting all trophys (Platinum trophy run), and if a run of this were to be performed in an RTA setting, then I would not have any objections to adding it to the leaderboards (albeit a discussion may have to happen as to whether it would be a main or misc category). The main issue was turning the stream off during the run which I didn't want to do, but Twitch guidelines state streams idle for 1hr+ would result in a ban.

just add in when I was getting the run ready gathering info etc, Platinum trophy is basically the 100% goal as you need to do everything listed.

Thought I would post the achievement list to show you guys, so everything listed here and going back through my 100% run there isn't much of a difference only the side missions and maybe some of the town missions which were like a hour - two.

So rather stating its 100% we can change it to be platinum trophy run.

The name of the category is not the main problem tho... its the fact the stream was turned off. We told you several times that this will not be on the digimon leaderboard if its not streamed in 1 sitting. This is simply staying consistent with the rules all other titles operate on (several of them would have options to have equally long "100%" runs). As it is the run in its current form does not meet the standards that were set by the entire community several years ago that all new games/runners have abided by and i personally dont see any reason to change those.

To play devil's advocate here however, how would this be fixed? Seeing as runners won't be able to leave the stream running during rest period (this goes against Twitch and many other streaming services' ToS) and playing this game to 100% in one sitting would be impossible; some form of compromise needs to take place to account for such. Whether it be to have mods check the start/end times of each stream to validate the timer has not be altered or to have an offline recording running at all times. Personally I'd go with the former as not everyone has multiple TB of redundant storage to have such a huge file lying around or the bandwidth to upload the whole thing. Though if you have any other suggestions, please feel free to speak up.
