i was wondering if we could make an actual category out of this

i recorded this locally and put it on youtube

I've recently been granted moderator status to the game and this thread has not been responded to, so whilst the user who has submitted this thread seems to be inactive for now, I'll put in a response if any other user wants to read why this hasn't been added as a category.

I think to create a new category in this game, it would require the following things (in my opinion):

• A clear defined goal

• Some semblance of substance to the run

• Competition

While this run definitely has the first criteria, ultimately there's very little to the category as ~5 minutes of it is a tutorial, 1 minute is mashing through training and then just fighting Patamon who can be one shot. Therefore there's little to no variation if somebody else were to do a run, limiting the third point of competition.

The run is shorter now, with the PC version being under 3 hours, however I realise this is still considered a long run. One shorter goal as an intermediary category could be clearing Chapter 1 by beating Machinedramon for the second time. I would think without the extra stuff required in any% that it would be roughly 1 hour long. It's difficult with a game this long to shorten it further.
