Death warps and the in-game timer

Well if it was darkness zone and you died it would be perfectly fine since you didn't go into orbit you still would have completed the run in one segment. but you did it in 2 segments when you went to orbit which is against the rules.

you don't get it you iq level isn't capable of processing this. It's fine. I don't think the restoration record is 1:26 I'm making the point that with these rules this is technically the equivalent of death warping, so therefore is death warping is not banned and you don't have to time the death screen then going to orbit is literally the same thing. Do not reply I now fully understand you're fucking brain dead. Thanks for the convo goodbye

Ehroar if you was in the discord you could also have taken part in the decision making. However, I feel that would have been detrimental to the decision being made because you seem to be very bad at accepting other peoples opinions, so maybe its a good thing you weren't there. So what you're getting at is that only people that get records can make the decision. Do you think Usaine Bolt made the rules for the 100m sprint. No.

(I know that example is a bit out there, but its as out there as you comparing orbiting and wipe screens as the same thing)

I'm confused, just run it with the death warp???

its not darkness zone so therefore you have to orbit. I don't think this is a legit strat I'm just showing that it is the same thing and therefore if that's not allowed then neither should be death warping.

I got that man, I'm talking about Nexus. I'm with you I hate the death warp it should be banned, but the majority of people on the Discord have said it's fine because everyone can replicate it.

I don't think it should be banned because it could result in faster times. However, I do see banning it as being one of the better solutions.

yeah everyone that needs to rely on it to beat runs of course will say keep it. When I do a side by side of our no warp run and theirs and ours ends 8 seconds faster I throw up. I literally can't fathom that its allowed to be wr. I made this video btw

but hazabow its not faster times. Its faster in game times not real times

Banning is a one of a few good solutions, it means no weird timing issues with death screens and IGT. However, in a future run a death warp could be found that saves more time (whether timed fully RTA or with wipe screen time cut out). And I don't think that forcing slower runs is fair. But as there aren't no runs currently like this it wouldn't really be a problem at this point in time. The other solution is to just leave it as the IGT. There aren't that many runs that use death warps that are advantageous to use them and so maybe just ignoring the fact that they can randomly add times to such a small number runs isn't that bad of a thing. But the bad thing about this is that a small number of runs would just have a problem with them that is just being ignored. Me and Ehroar I feel suggested two ideas that are a sort of middle ground between the two. However, both these suggestions have flaws in them which I have already gone over.

Basically as I see it no solution is perfect. The decision should be which one is the best solution according to the majority.
