Reasons for bringing this up: I am of the opinion that the fastest time should be displayed on the homepage whether that be SRL or Non-SRL. In my opinion the main page should be a place where all the records can easily be seen in one space, but currently some times that are being shown simply aren't the records. The solution to this isn't to just display the SRL times on the main page as it could also result in some records being taken away. I see the middle ground is to merge the two, SRL and Non-SRL. This would allow for the fastest time to be shown on the main page no matter what. Then to distinguish between SRL and Non-SRL runs would be through the use of a filter. This way the fastest time will be displayed on the main page but if someone wants to look at just Non-SRL or just SRL times, they can do this through a filter.
Counter points:
- This could discourage new runners.
- Times that have been worked hard on could be taken of the main page through someone just using the SRL helm.
My arguments against the counter points: New runners may be discouraged about running because they may feel that "whats the point if i don't have the SRL helm". I hate to say it but, tough. Currently runners are being discouraged to push the game to its limits which, especially with this being Destiny's final leg, is the point of a speedrun.
Currently times have hard work being put into them aren't even being shown due to the current way the main page is. So I find the second counterpoint invalid.
If there are any other arguments for or against please reply to this post with them so people can be as informed as possible.

We're at a point now that the game should just be made as fast as it possibly can be. New people aren't really gonna be coming back to this game for speedrunning reasons. Only people who already ran would be coming back to speedrun and most of us have access to SRL things. I say merge.
Another possible solution: Have all 4 on the main screen. Non srl solo the srl solo then duo, fireteam. My honest opinion of anyone that says we shouldn't because of new players is dumb. The duo and fireteam slots both allow srl. That's 2 of the 3 on the main page. Talk about discouraging new players. To be quite frank the easiest categories to run are duo/fireteam since they aren't nearly as optimized or even ran. So if you are saying not to merge them because new players how does this make any sense.

I'll vote yes if you put a note at the top of every sparrow run that says, "New or returning runners:
Fuck off."
