Start a new game.

Character Creation:
To get the most powerful version of Elwin enter the following responses to the quiz.

Avoid the tutorial and begin the game.

Scenario 1
Once you have mashed A to the point that you are in control of the game again, input the "Control Units Friendly/Enemy" code.

Control Units Friendly/Enemy
This code will allow you to take unlimited turns with both Friendly and Enemy units.

Inputs:
Down Left Up Right A Left Up B Down Right A B Down Right A
You will hear a tone if you entered the code correctly

Once you have the code entered stay in the Settings menu and turn off animations. Take the cursor Northwest to take control of Beldo and move him next to Erwin. Have him attack Erwin. If you are lucky, Erwin will kill Beldo in one turn. Mash A until all text boxes are done. Once you have a chance to save the game, save the game and than reset the console.

Once you have the start screen, go to the load select screen and place the cursor on the slot below where you just saved the game. Enter the "Scenario Select" code.

Scenario Select
This code will allow you to select any scenario.

Inputs:
Up Down Up Down Left Right Select A

If you entered the code correctly you should now be able to select a scenario. Go to Scenario 36.

Scenario 36:
Mash A until you can start placing units. Ensure that Hein is placed in the Northeast spot. Place all the other commanders wherever there is a flag. The order for the rest really doesn't matter. Mash A until you have control of the game again. Enter the "Control Units Friendly/Enemy" code. Once you hear the tone you can exit out of the menu. You DO NOT need to turn of animations again.

Move to the North and take control of Bernhart and move him towards Hein. If you can, put him next to Hein, but be careful not to accidentally attack Hein. Bernhart will kill Hein if you do. Have Hein cast "Decline" to reduce Bernhart's Magical Defense. Follow that up with casting "Magic Arrow." Use a couple free actions to Rally increasing Hein's MP to 10 and cast "Blast." Repeat doing Rally until you hit 10 MP and cast "Blast" until Bernhart is killed.
