Deathkick Guide

Obscure game from Blaby Computer Games released in 1984 for the Amstrad CPC.  Fatally flawed, the game has an impassable enemy. However, the game randomly "crashes" as the Youtuber found, but not specifically just on that screen, it happens randomly when inputting, often after dying.  The rules I am putting in place have the timer end when you get a game over on that impassable enemy.  He cannot be damaged for whatever reason. If someone can figure a way past the guy I will update the rules then.


The command below will run thge game if you reset: run"death
The " is found by SHIFT+2 at least in my setup.
Press for no infiniti lives "N" then "Y" for infinite deathkicks if you want.
Timing starts when you "Press any ket to begin".
Timing stops when you game over on the short invincible midget.  If he can be somehow bypassed or defeated I will change this rule.


Game Controls
You need to use the number pad to put inputs. 
0 = Move Forward
5 = Death Kick
4= Open Door / Forward Punch
1 = Low Kick
7 = Jump Kick.  Useless. Game locks your input so you cannot even use it next to enemeis like the Shurikin Thrower.
"." = Move backward.
6 = Sumersault in place.  Useless.
2 = Duck.  Useless.
8 = Jump.  Useless.  In fact can get you killed on some screens if you "jump" into the ceiling for some reason.
ENTER=Bow

Other buttons do various things...but they do not see to be useful.

Sections below denotes a room.  There are 15 rooms we can access before we get to the invincible bearded midget.
	1) Nothing
	2) Nothing.  Has a weird floating @.
3) Flying Kicker.  Using 5 for deathkick works well. Rather nothing else seems to do anything to the guy.
4) Knifer followed by a Flying Kicker.  He has a knife but he might as well have a spear.  Range is absurd.  Death kick seems to be again the only thing that works. Hold 0 to you get to the "1" of the screen next to "St = 1", then wait until you moves forawrd a step then use Death Kick.  Be aggressive with inputs since the enemy causes MASSIVE lag and seems to eat inputs.  After you kill him you need to use the death kick immidiately.
5) Use 4 for Forward Punch to to open the door.
6) You get these weird Dragon Chickens that attack you.  1 for the Low Kick is the fastest way of dealing with them, but Death Kick works consistently and seems to clear all of them out.  1-4 can spawn in these rooms.
7) Dragon Chickens again.
8) Weird Floating @ again.
9)  Knifer followed by a Flying Kicker, same as before.
10) Shurikin Thrower.  Single Shurikin thrower.  You can ONLY use Death Kick on teh shurikin.  Looks like the game locks all your other input.  To kil teh enemy use teh Forward Punch, Low Kick, or the Death Kick.  You cannot use the Jump Kick, game locks it from use when you near the enemy for some reason.
11) PRESS ENTER to Bow Within 3 seconds to avoid dying. There is text "BOW" and if you don't you die.  Ridiculous.
12) "Foward Punch" the door to open it.  Same as before.
13) Death Kick to kill the Flying Kicker here.
14) Nothing
15) Shurikin Thrower.
16) Bow!
17) Nothing
18) Dragon Chickens
19) Dragon Chickens
20) Bow!
21) Knifer followed by a Flying Kicker.
22) Flying Kicker.
23) Invincible midget. Die on him to game over.
