#Dash Jump
A dash jump is when you dash then jump shortly after. The outcome is that you go a little bit higher. The reason behind it is that the jump causes you to go upwards, which the dash keeps that upward momentum as you dash. This trick is not allowed in Glitchless, but will not be penalized if there's no advantage.
#Blast Dash Jump
Like doing a rocket jump, but also throwing in a dash. Trick is not allowed in Glitchless.
#Dash Boost
Dashing and holding a dash on a jump pad, allowing for extra height. This gives a considerable amount of height, nearly as much as a super jump. Trick is not allowed in Glitchless.
#Wall Blast Jump
As the name implies, this is a blast jump but using the wall for the blast to scale up a wall if no platform is beneath you. Trick is not allowed in Glitchless, although using just the blast against the wall is.
#Super Jump
Jump at the same time you hit a jump pad. The jump acts like extra height. Trick is not allowed in Glitchless.
#Super Dash Jump
Combining both a boost dash and super jump, a super dash jump is when you dash into a jump pad and hold it while jumping at the time of hitting the pad, giving you greater height than a normal super jump. Trick is not allowed in Glitchless.
#Mega Jump
Falling from a considerable distance away onto a jump pad then jump at the exact same time you hit the jump pad. The velocity of you coming down adds up with the jump pad, allowing insanely high jumps. The higher you go, the more velocity you will collect to go even higher. Trick is not allowed in NMG or Glitchless.
Note: the super jump and mega jump both are frame-tight tricks
#Curveboost
A curveboost is when you dash off of some type of curvature allowing you to go upwards. This is due to the fact that the dash is meant to go forward, so when it hits off a curve it goes forward, but has to defy gravity and go off the curve’s angle. Trick is not allowed in Glitchless.
Note: Curveboost is an umbrella term under curves, ledges, and corners and can also be used with or without a rocket jump
#Gravity Boost
While leaving a gravity field with upward momentum, if you input a dash jump while the camera is still rotating to its original orientation, you will get a large boost upwards. The height of your boost is impacted by how much of the dash meter you expend. Trick is not allowed in Glitchless.
#Level Warping
In the result screen at the end of a story level, rapidly clicking the continue button as it scrolls upwards off the screen allows you to skip levels due to each click incrementing the level index. This trick is only allowed in Any%.
#Wall Clip
Dashing between 2 perpendicular walls with a certain angle will make you pass through them. Trick is not allowed in NMG or Glitchless.
Video coming soon
#Wall Fling
Stay in contact with a wall or platform as it rotates allowing you to be flung upwards. This is because of the momentum brought by the wall or platform. To gain more height, dash perpendicular to the movement of the platform during the rotation. Trick is not allowed in Glitchless.
#Horizontal Mega Jump
##Horizontal Mega Jump (non-frame perfect)
Shoot the button that flips the horizontal jump pad around and be right next to where it will point, when you shoot it jump and when it turns your way, you will fly upwards insanely fast. Trick is not allowed in NMG or Glitchless.
##Horizontal Mega Jump (frame perfect)
Fall from about any distance above a blast jump onto a sideways jump pad. Try and hit right in between the block (which is required for this trick, if there is none it won’t work) and the jump pad. You will go insanely high up. What happens is you clip in between the block and the jump pad, and the jump pad shoots you forward, but it will act as a curveboost. Trick is not allowed in NMG or Glitchless.
#Fan Fling
Fan fling allows you to gain enormous speeds and travel in the direction the fan blows. Similar to the to the gravity fling in the old version, but not patched. Trick is not allowed in IGT categories except NG Legacy.
Execution:
Get close to the fan so you can feel it’s attraction, closer – the better.
Pause the game and wait required amount of time.
Unpause and you’ll see the effect. With so much speed you basically travel through any solids in the game and can easily get out of the border of the map.
Video soon to come
#Infinite Collision Climbing
Same as collision climbing, but infinite. Works with any tall corners.
Execution:
Get into the corner and jump. Because of how collision climbing works – all your jumps will be higher than normal.
Dash into the corner. You must dash enough to clip INTO the corner, but not enough to clip THROUGH it.
The game will push you out, but since you just were in the solid, you regained your second jump. Jump and repeat.
Video soon to come
#Legacy Tricks
##Gravity Fling
(Patched 1.2) Jump in a gravity field and wait a certain amount of time (min. 15s ?) depending on how much height you want to gain. Only allowed in NG Legacy.
##Blast Abuse
(Patched 1.1) Rocket jumping up vertical or otherwise unscalable angles. Only allowed in NG Legacy.
