Hello everyone! As of April 11, 2026 a new type of major trick has been found that greatly impacts the speedrun. The trick has been dubbed "Red Diamond Skip" and allows players to forgo collecting Red Diamonds in certain levels to open boss doors. This discovery has significantly changed the route of the Any% category. Because of this, a new sub-category has been added to Any% called "No Diamond Skips". In addition to adding a new category, we are also taking time to reorganize the leaderboard to make it look more compact and clean. Any% No SJ and Any% Glitchless have also been added as sub categories to Any%. 100% has also been given the same treatment and has No SJ and Glitchless as sub-categories as well.

Wario World will also be organizing a Category extension board for categories such as Coinless, All Spritelings, etc. All current submitted runs for such categories will be moved over to the extension board over the next few days/weeks.

New categories will continue to be added to the extension board over time. These categories will range from niche runs, to memes for a quick laugh.
