9 days. 9 games. 9 balls. After a popular series-wide LTA earlier this year, the Wii Series Speedrunning community are back with Wii Play BREAK the Record! Runners will compete in 6 categories with over $450 on the line!
Wii Play BREAK the Record
This LTA takes place from 6pm ET Friday 12th September to 5:59pm ET Sunday 21st September 2025.
The best time of the event, an Event Record (ER), will be rewarded with a cash prize, with a boosted prize if that’s a new World Record (WR). A huge $175 is allocated to the sub 9:40 WR time in All Games if one runner has the determination (and luck) required to achieve the feat. Records can change hands right up until the end of the final day.

Bronze Medals, top prize $50

Find Mii 99, top prize $50
Tanks! Solo 10, top prize $50
Double Bronze, top prize $45

Participation rules are on the document below. This is a live LTA event, so all runs must be streamed on a channel which has been sent to an event organiser. Runs will be restreamed to the ResortFest Twitch channel with commentary over the weekends.
