Are we going to do speed runs on LMDF?

I suspect cheating on a video i just watched. I won name names publicly. But its to do with the timer on the SRT (livesplit) why every 50ms or so there is a slight and i mean slight pause)

I compared the IGT and its about a min difference BUT that would suggest a mod used to slow down the IGT which in affect i suspect the livesplit detects the games timmer as well.

If i watch my runs that ms (millisecond) just constant. the FPS counter is also pretty low So i am unsure if the game is lagging regarding that causing the timmer to seem like its pausing every 50-51ms for about 5-10ms ish.

I just want to know cause i do wonder since im not using mods how do we know a mod isnt used to slow down the timer. And i dont know if livesplit is affected by this.

Anyone encounter bugs in the game like

Orphange part insanity never had issues. but last night noticed this.

You get to the main hall downstairs crawl under the desk and when the child drops to the ground they do their thing walk to next room you crawl out and then as you get to the corner at the end of the corridor they there they look you run away and you exit back to the hall normally you turn around to the door you hear the door shut.. cool

get there and boom theys till standing there but waiting for you so you run away BUT at the corner is another 2 and grabs you = dead

This happened about 3 times in a row i had to crawl under desk wait about 20 seconds then move on. i swear it wasnt like this.

The whole session last night felt like it was against me

This pausing thing is really irritating yes on emergencies have kids maybe many of us do and yes i have to pause but is the 5 minutes really not too short honestly.

to require an adult to play 1hour to 2 hours on something non stop without any interference gets hard if you have kids or day time hence i play closer to 10pm.

again was for emergencies wtf

im just B***ing and moaning getting real fustrated at least each time im running im bettering my time.

I need little bit of assistance those of you who claim to of mastered insanity run. Ive done a trial run last night gave up cause was nearly 3 am and i can see i wasnt going to be what is now 2nd place ...first place wtf dude how.

First bit that gets me all the ime wasting prescious seconds

The cop with the shotgun. Dodge it all you like he seeems to be aiming at me a lot 1-2 seconds im dead. after 3-4 deaths holding right works even tho there is no trigger event for it. sometimes its left sometimes its right its very random behaviors in Insanity i must say.

3rd person views when Grace is running way blood falling great spot she bolts fast. Grace running to insert the fuse just watch out i had her stumble right in front of it missing the fuse by maybe 2 meters.

any other tips welcome. Yes have RC infinite and Graces machine gun funny enough does a good job less recoil than requem which adds seconds after a shot preventing me from moving so dodging is my priority.

so far i got to get the magnetic key at 2h 31m 13seconds gave up after wasting 10mins dying frm the lickers (i corneed myself and paniced)

NG+ prob where ill do runs etc but unsure how thats going to work since you keep your stats not weapons read that you can do this in 90mins after NG+

has anyone had audio issues on the game ?

today stream is laggying then the games frames drop like mad and the audio on the walky got ...really skippy

So i still have my Phat and Slim PS2 and a PS3 (120GB Slim)

and have the original disc PAL version etc.

I wanted to do know can i do this over Emulation cause i see the World Rec doesnt show hes using an Console the screen just shows what he sees.

Im using Bizhawk and funny enough got a Original PS1 Controller SCPH-1080 hooked to the PC via adapter.

HI all. Id like to do a speed run but im not understanding as to why the rules say Bizhawk or PSXJIN ...bizhawk im unsure why cant get it installed and PSXJIN doesnt start the game up

Can i use Xebra its pretty much a Emulator of the PSX hardware and i can use the webcam to record my hand usage on the controller (Black Xbox 360 Controller the keys are visible)
