HI all. Id like to do a speed run but im not understanding as to why the rules say Bizhawk or PSXJIN ...bizhawk im unsure why cant get it installed and PSXJIN doesnt start the game up
Can i use Xebra its pretty much a Emulator of the PSX hardware and i can use the webcam to record my hand usage on the controller (Black Xbox 360 Controller the keys are visible)
Nevermind got bizhawk to work after some youtube. and with no help figured out how to fix the damn cue file (lucky my wife does dev and had notepad++ installed.
no help im refering to google wasnt much help everyone is like hey manually fix it ???
anyway got to do practice runs first and hit record etc
Glad you got Bizhawk to work. PSXJIN is faster on the loading times. We only allow these 2 emulators because all PSX emulators are trash so the fastest one was picked. Bizhawk was added later just because a lot of people have issues with PSXJIN. Highly recommend running the PC version eventually.
Forgot to make an update here, but the Steam Version is basically identical to the GOG version, and is identical in terms of gameplay, so it is also allowed on the board.
