Hey welcome to the forums. Let me know if you need any help picking or finding new games to play I'm fairly proficient at helping people pick games out that they love. What kind of games do you like to play any specific genres? Like horror, shmups for example.
Yep, coffee works especially when you first wake up in the morning and want to get runs done. My favorite is cappucinos. Where I live they sell reeses peanut butter flavored cappucinos and they are very good. Pumpkin spice is another good flavor. :) You could also try 5 hour energy as that works well to. However, I find monster and rockstar energy drinks to work better but they are not exactly healthy for you. Although, I think your best bet would probably visit a GNC store for supplements and do some research on the web on supplements they do have supplements that increase your level of focus such as focus factor. But when you add up all those supplements they can be quite expensive so I would just go with the ones that actually make a difference. Eat a well balanced meal for energy, food is the most common source for energy (yes we also workout by eating and we can build our abs at the dinner table so as long as you know what to eat. Blueberries, cheese, kale, stick to healthy fats, tuna, peanut butter, eggs are good to.What we eat plays a huge role in our focus. I have to find a way to get off these cigarettes the only thing that has worked in the past was the NRT (nicotine replacement therapy) patch so will be giving that a try again. I know I didn't go into a lot of detail here but I hope what I wrote actually helps you.
Did you try an application called virtual dub? Whenever I record my games sometimes the sound is out of sync from the video best way I know of to fix this is to go to an option called audio interleave and add a delay of 1000 ms. You would have to fool around with it though to get the best results but that option has always fixed audio desyncs for me. I have no clue about OBS though because I've never tried it. I've always used the emulators internal recording feature when capturing and I use a software application called fraps to record my pc games it's always worked for me.. I know that fraps is kind of outdated and screen recorders such as OBS are superior from what I've read and seen on youtube. Hope this helps you.
I've studied martial arts/boxing my whole life so a lot of my focus has come from that. Just a lot of discipline, there are days where I don't feel like I have the motivation to play games but I do so out of discipline and works for me every time. It's also enhanced my hand eye coordination and reflexes to high levels I also smoke a lot while I play my games so I suppose that adds to it but I don't recommend smoking cigarettes as its bad for your health. I know this sounds sort of contradictory with my life style but I do it because I want to do it. Good luck on your runs! Theres nothing that you can't do when you put your mind to it.

I'm familiar with icloud, its a video streaming service right? I have a thread that I started over on the talk section of the forums and it's called Favorite Horror Games. In there I have been listing recent more modern horror games and I think that you might be interested in some of them. :) I frequently post in that thread and have been thinking about mostly posting about upcoming horror games and their release dates as well as opinions I may have about them. Others are free to join in. Every year recently we have been getting a ton of new horror games released by indie developers, great for speedrunning by the way which is why I felt compelled to post more of them so other users on here might take interest.
Thanks for wishing me luck on youtube. It would be great to have you on there as the site is very popular amongst gamers and other types of people, it is tough to get discovered though since I've only been on there for about a year but took a lengthy break. I have no doubts that I'll be pretty popular on there as my previous YT channel had thousands of subscribers years ago. I mostly do console/arcade/pc games and every once in a great while I'll do a speedrun, as I mostly just complete games with no deaths or no damage. Its fun and you can say I enjoy extreme challenges. Hey, it's great talking to you again good luck on your college and your speedruns.
Hey congrats man! Where you been? :) Nice job on your speedruns and wishing you the best on any future speedruns that you decide to do. I love watching horror themed games so can't wait to see yours.
Nerved and Horror Story: Hallowseed both look good. Also House On The Hill is another really well done horror game. This year as well as next year both look good for horror games I must say. The lineups they have really made me follow quite a bit of upcoming horror games. Also for those of you that haven't played the new Blair Witch game I must say its really good. The developers of Layers Of Fear designed Blair Witch I think. The original Blair Witch trilogy of games were pretty good psychological horror games.. not as good as the silent hill series but still worth checking out.
Welcome to the forums and best thing that you can do to improve is practice of course. :) Check the game that you are running page on this site look for helpful resources such as guides and ask questions on the games forums as well. Watch other pro runs on video hosting sites such as youtube or even on twitch. Conduct thorough research on the game in question and you are looking for glitchless? So I guess that means ripping the game apart and looking for new glitches is out of the question. Hey good luck with your speedruns. :)
Orange Is The New Black, Dexter, and Californication were really good series.
PvP really stands for player vs player but it could also stand for players vs players. Resident evil 5 and 6 are co-op games for example. But.. I think what you are getting at are games like Project Resistance but I don't know if you would officially classify that as PvP because technically you are working together as a group to meet a goal/objective even there besides the co op element there is another player playing as a mastermind where they setup obstacles in your way such as tyrants and other enemy AI. I didn't check to see if games like that were added to the site but it would seem to be co op. Think Left 4 Dead except replace the AI director with a human director. Hope this helps but I may be wrong about that game and it could technically be classified as PvP. There are games that have PvP modes that also have pure co-op campaigns that are allowed like RE6 and Aliens Colonial Marines for example. I could name them all day but you get the point.
