United StatesI believe we have one category that allows/ considers an older version of the game (Story Mode Any% (Old Physics)), but it's only for the main game mode. The most recent version of the game is required for all other categories since the physics system itself is very different as well.
I think MentosCubing posted one at some point on his youtube. There wasn't a lot of interest as it's a very niche/ small run, so there isn't a lot of demand for a guide. Community discord helps out where we can though.
To clarify, there are individual level runs, or the 'All Level 1' category which is basically the demo run.
Since the game is still being updated, rules and categories may change.

Slower than your current PB. It's 7 min 54s LTR, very close to 7 min 53s LTR.
*Mod note - Retimed to 9 minutes 5 seconds with LRT of 7 minutes 55 seconds.
Hey Grais, while the RTA for this is faster than the previous run, the combined times is actually a few seconds shorter than your previous WR. That makes this an RTA WR only, not an official WR.
Sorry, I meant like guide or process to play/ emulate the Amiga. I tried my best to emulate Amiga, but had no luck. Haven't had the issue before, but I may just need to be more patient and give it another try in the future.

Leo, there is the Surgeon Sim Speedrun Discord which also has a room for SS2 specifically - I wasn't sure if you might want to do that instead for the speedrunning community (This is now for Jirono/ the active mod)
