Do you allow different versions of this game for runs? While I'm just trying to get a platinum trophy, for Cheese Hunt Garden A++ various guides say a 2:20 or lower but I see Yano_Karozuno take exactly 3 minutes to complete Garden in his full run. These two times are completely different as well as the results screen at the end. I would like the developers to put back the slower times for easier trophy hunting(like that'll happen). But if you do allow different patches/versions of the game than I guess this observation is void.

I believe we have one category that allows/ considers an older version of the game (Story Mode Any% (Old Physics)), but it's only for the main game mode. The most recent version of the game is required for all other categories since the physics system itself is very different as well.
