We’re probably not going to do anything cos that category isn’t super competitive or serious If someone wants to commit to it then they can do it but it’s not super appealing to many people so the rules don’t really matter as much

I say just make cards another category like 100%

Well uh, you do you but if you still wanna try this for speedstuff you’re not really gonna be able to submit anything if it’s as inaccurate as the other mods are saying it is. But feel free to post what you do have in our discord; it’ll be easier to talk about it there anyway. This just seems uh, a bit complicated that’s all.

I mean uh, wow. Bit of a different setup there; the main thing is making sure it runs at the same speed as a normal game boy, so if that’s the case I don’t see much of a problem.

Oi so the IL board was brought up again and I'm still gonna be seeing that as a completely reasonable request considering this place is full of barren boards, which was the reason it was taken off the main board in the first place; for the concern that Any% and 100% are too subjective, what I think would work is if we had 2 subcategories for Any% and 100% with the first one being "Standard Route" and in the rule box we'd have a link to a doc detailing the route mainly used in any% and 100% (I'd be happy to make those if we go with it) and a "Special Route" subcategory for more obscure routes, with a variable option for the equipment bought. In the case of the common alternate Any% routes like skelebro, it could either be a variable in "Standard Route" or another subcategory if nobody has an issue with possible minor crams. pleasepleasepleaseplease can we actually come to a consensus with this

Hi can we put the IL boards here - We discussed on the other SK forum and Maestro proposed putting it here.

That is the way I think it should be done but if more people say otherwise then majority rules unfortunately.

This is how we did IL's before

I did put together a doc of Plague gold splits but clearly people weren't too enthusiastic about it. Also @Fragbringer we have the Low% and NG+ categories which is basically what you're describing but the issue is that for the any% category you are technically allowed to get every item up to said IL but what we're looking for is IL's with out preferred route.

Wouldn't it make sense to move them to the meme boards then? Because tbh, that's essentially what the meme boards look like anyway. (imo)

Yes, but this ruins the point of having the fastest any% IL's because these are meant to demonstrate what the IL would look like in a speedrun.

Yea, I had suggested awhile ago creating a variable option to distinguish what items were used, and these variables can be sorted as such (I dunno I still think its a good idea).
