Hello SMO Online Runners! as of October 25th 2025, massive changes to how our runs were presented were made. We're now allowing the Sardines version of the mod, and along with it, changing how mod versions are categorized. Given there are now more than 2 approved versions of the mod, a Yes/No system no longer cuts it, so instead, you now select which version of the mod you are using. All runs before today that didn't use Freeze Tag have been marked as "Unknown". If you have any Runs during this time, Please feel free to edit your submission and change your Mod Version.

A big shuffle of the categories themselves has happened. There is now an Additional 4 Categories, those being Star%, 124 Moons, All Story Moons, Double Any%. In the interest of not bloating this announcement, I won't talk about the categories too much individually, but you can check the Category Rules, or if you have any further questions about them, feel free to ask on the Discord. Additionally, "Any% (2-Player Mode)" has been removed due to lack of purpose and interest.

6P & 7P have now been merged into one sub-category, due to the lack of interest in those respective player-counts.

Due to community demand, Non-stop is now available for every category as a sub-category, as opposed to it just being for Any%. We hope this brings more interest for Non-Stop now it's no longer a single category.

Again, if you have any further questions, I encourage you join and ask on the Discord, as I am most active there. Thank you for reading.
