The category should have 3 requirements: a. defeat all Prisoners b. collect all exotic Spiders c. defeat Doc Oc and see the credits. We can call it either 100% or "all spiders & Prisoners".
I just think it will be pretty fun to have a longer category that shows more of the game. I'm currently figuring out the route, based on this ign article that shows all spiders and prisoners: https://www.ign.com/faqs/2004/spider-man-2-walkthrough-557674
What do you guys think?
Edit: turns out the IGN articale does not contain all spiders and prisoners inside missions, like the bank or mysterio's world. I'm down for doing a search across the entire game and finding them if you guys are
Edit 2: This guy, "Sonic_Exe231", made videos showing all spiders and inmates: his channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCoffm5XOA19gdJiWr4xZmMQ All Inmates: All Spiders: (thanks to Bokijack for sending me this channel)
What about all the time challenges spread around the city? Do they have to be beaten to complete the game 100?
I don't think the time challenges should be included. while yes, having time challenges in a speedrun sounds fitting, I don't think they're interesting in any way, and they always felt like an afterthought in the game design anyway.
Currently constructing a route. Are we going with this?
Edit: lol finished my first ever 100% run: https://imgur.com/a/3hXEVtP
Do the time challenges count towards 100%? Even if not, I don't like calling this "100%", rather I'd call this "all secrets" instead.
I think that "all secrets" or "all spiders&Inmates" would be better if we want to keep "100%" free for additional stuff like time challenges, defeating all enemies and getting perfect score in each stage.
personally, I don't fancy the time challenges, they seem a little bit bland, but we can keep that option open for a potential 100% category. Right now I think a category that goes through all missions, collects all spiders and inmates, and finishes at the credits would be fun.
About the 100% thing. I did some playing and some things are true. Not in all missions it's possible to get the maximum score that game tells it is, like in Puma Ponces and Final Battle. We do hovewer can get "Fantastic" rank in both so if getting more score is phisically impossible, we can call it a day right?
Second thing, not all of mini challanges are doable. In game there are like 2 mini challanges in first and third level, that are impossible. Coins that needs to be collected vanish inside of walls. So the thing is, should we skip need of doing mini challanges at all for 100%, or should we count only working ones?
Third, the thing with challanges is that, they give overall game points, which can be easly manipulated/farmed during second to last level, after train crash. I haven't played super much, but i got more than 43000 points from just one mission, for beating indefinitely spawned thugs. That makes beating all bandits from levels effectively useless, unless they are needed by game mission(Bank and Oscorp).
It would be nice to consider all those and convert it into at least fine 100% category.
Also, I would like to share a game map with all things(excluding bandits) that could be used as guide or route sheet. Just, don't take Oscorp too seriously. I'm 90% sure I failed there. I mean, try to pinpoint things when there are like 5 floors(?) :)

"Lag Switch" is no longer an official subcategory as there was zero activity for a few years. Also there's now basically no reason to have the lag category as all the newest skips/tricks in are possible in Lagless without capping your framerate to 3 or 5. Also would like to introduce the new auto-s
