Hello and welcome to Silksong speedrunning!

Most of our discussion about meme categories happens in the #ss-misc-categories channel of the Hollow Knight Speedrunning Discord! (There is an invite link at the top of the page.) If you have a new category idea, it is recommended you ask about it there or search the Discord to gauge interest.

When you join the Discord, navigate to Channels & Roles and give yourself the Silksong Gamer role for access to Silksong channels. For now, channels shared with Hollow Knight shouldn't have Silksong spoilers

Another note: we highly recommend running some existing categories before exploring the creation of a new one. Recording and submitting a valid speedrun will give you a better perspective on the full process and will give you an idea of what makes a good speedrun category.
