I am running co op any% and need specification on the rules. In the show rules page it says the removal of the second player at any point in the run is not allowed does this include the second player dropping in and out or something else and on the IL 1 co op the WR drops in and out several times. Any clarification to this would be nice.

After discussing with mods, clarification has now been provided on the boards.

A 2nd player must be present at some point during the run. Otherwise, the run is considered a Solo run.

Dropping in/out the 2nd player is allowed for this category.
