I am a beginner speedrunner. I watch a video by jokerUY and try to follow it. I ran into a problem with the village and two grenades. I do everything just like in the video, but the second grenade, the one thrown over the roof, doesn't kill enough villagers. Especially since there aren't even many to kill there, just one villager with a chainsaw and a couple of ordinary ones. I don't know what the problem could be; after more than 50 attempts, I still haven't achieved anything.

in that specific clip , i think you want to aim more to the left for the 2nd nade. in my run i stood in about the same spot as u but aimed more left. (see leons head)

there may be more things youre doing wrong but im not so sure. i suggest joining the re4 discord which u can find the link just above on this page, more likely to get help

also have Livesplit open with the Kills counter display enabled so you can see how close you're getting. you need 8 kills before throwing the nade to get to 16 kills

also 1 more thing for the first guy u shoot with the pistol you dont need to headshot him at all for a 7 shot kill. all body shots is ok

At the moment, I have tried different grenade aiming, tried shooting from different positions at the first villager, but I still haven't found an answer to my question. A couple of times I managed to get through it, but I still don't understand what makes those attempts different from my unsuccessful ones. I hope it's all because of my skill, and not a mistake in RE4 itself.

Right now I am training the cabin. And, I can say, it's a real hell😅

the cabin pistol strat is really hard as a beginner , u could consider doing the slower but easier Shotgun strat for cabin. it just requries a few tweaks in the route to have the shotgun there. If u follow this guide, inventory after cabin will be the same as joker's route
