Today we are excited to finally announce the Ditman Cup!

This will be a tournament for the category New Game Professional 60 FPS, specifically for the Steam version of the game.

We did a tournament just like this almost four years ago, in 2022, and after a long time we're ready to do it again, this time with a different format and better organization.

If you want to participate, here's what you need to know:

To join, you will have to fill out a short Google Form (it will only take two minutes of your time). This form will close on December 5th, 10PM UTC-3.

After that, there will be a period of time where qualifying rounds will be held. Here you will try to get the fastest time you can in order to qualify for the actual tournament.

The format for the tournament, after you've qualified, will have two divisions: A and B. The top 12 participants in the qualifiers will go to A, the top 13 to top 28 will go to B. Division A will have a Winners Bracket and a Losers Bracket, in order for you to have a chance to come back if you had some rough matches. The full format + rules of the tournament are explained in detail in this document.

All the official tournament matches will be multi-streamed live on a YouTube channel as well as a Twitch channel.

There will be a prize pool which will go towards the top 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 at the end.

Everything about the tournament, scheduling, questions, rules, etc will be discussed in a dedicated Discord server we've made for it so if you're planning on participating, you should absolutely join.

As for scheduling, the start date of the qualifiers has not been decided yet, and will be decided based on the responses on the Google Form. Same goes for the date when the actual tournament begins, this is not decided yet.
