We recently held a vote within the RE2R speedrunning discord to determine whether or not to separate older generation consoles from the current and future generation consoles. This is an important matter because the current generation consoles simply perform much better than older consoles, which automatically gives an advantage, players on these consoles also have access to playing the game in HFR (High Framerate Mode), and this allows players to employ many of the strategies used on the PC version of the game, so pitting players on older generation consoles against those who are on current gen is fundamentally unfair.

The solution we have currently is just to separate consoles by generation, but we are open to designing the boards differently to ensure most players are happy with the level of fairness, so please if you are a console player, and have criticism for any decisions being made here, you can message me or another mod on SRC, or on discord. Moving every single run over to it's proper position will take quite a bit of time because each run has to be moved manually, so please be patient while we work through it.
