I did a pvz beghouled speedrun but there is no timer in the video, does my video need to have a timer? if yes, then can I edit a timer on to that video? I was timing using my phone but I wasn't recording the timer or anything.

You don't need to have a timer. Every video can be retimed after the fact and usually is for the most accurate time possible!
