LOADLESS TIMER INFO **CONSOLE RUNNERS PLEASE READ**

New York, USA

So currently, we are using a Loadless timer to track speedruns.

RTA has massive time fluctuations between hardware on PC, and through some testing thanks to sunglasses they figured out the IGT of the game is also not accurate for runs. (Long story short it repeatedly rounds down milliseconds creating a very innacurate timer over the course of the run)

So because of this, to keep it fair and so that everyone can still compete on the same playing field we chose this timing method.

As of the time of this post we do not have a Load Removing Timer for console. But in the meantime/if it never happens, please submit runs anyways.

We use the time that the timer pauses on PC to judge when the game is effectively loading, and because of this we can pinpoint exact frames and count it over the course of a run.

We would like this process to get less tedious long term for everyone involved, namely having a database where we can quickly take time out of a run without having to frame count every single console run by hand.

We don't have immediate access to every single console release of the game, so if you are a player who plays on console (especially if it's not on the full game leaderboard yet) and wants to run the game, either you can time your loads or we can do it for you so that way we have that data on hand for future runs.

In an ideal world we can have this data publicly available so that way timing these gets far more convenient for future runners who don't want to deal with the time sink it takes to calculate loads on a specific console.

Thank you! -loz
