i can use BGB emulator for a run???

From the rules: "The only allowed emulator is the latest release of GambatteSpeedrun (Currently r614) with a GBC bios image. All other emulators are banned."

I'm necroing this one to point out some potentially relevant changes in the most recent version of BGB: http://bgb.bircd.org/manual.html#speedruns. That said, afaik, it's not convenient to capture the full BGB window in OBS.

As far as I'm aware, Gambatte Speedrun is the single permitted emu for this game because it was developed by the community itself. It's possible that they just won't trust any other emulator regardless of the extent of development on it.

R649 is the most recent version now btw
