I'd be really interested in tracking individual connected tracks records, the game doesn't have time trials for these, so you'd play them in VS probably, I did try to look online but I can't find such an initiative, if there is one, please tell me where I can find it. Otherwise I'm pitching the idea, if Nintendo doesn't want to track times for these, I think we should do it so we can optimize strategies on these tracks as well! I also think it would help spread the word that these tracks are not in fact fully devoid of worthwhile strategy. I have seen plenty of really cool tricks in longer runs but I think individual tracks are also worth looking at, especially because not all tracks are part of the runs.
@aluminum_oxide67 on discord has started work on a leaderboard like that: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1LYFlgFxFuMGyLDNOvSUicNfe9Fb9dqT6d_ln7eRhFIc/edit?gid=0#gid=0
I would join the discord and ask him about it - I don't know much myself.
well I guess I'll wait until it's functional, but thanks for letting me know someone is working on it
