Since Mario Paint was released on SNES Online, can it be supported for speedrunning Gnat Attack?

I have always seen official platforms allowed. Mods are too preoccupied to respond to the forum but submitting a time and saying it was on VC would force their hands. You could also try DMing both at the same time.
