I have the original trackball mouse and wanted to know if Hyperkin's optical mouse was advantageous. It is. The button underneath adjusts between low sensitivity and high sensitivity.

I tried Gnat Attack, and the same "looseness" that makes the mouse kinda crap for drawing upped my swatter game considerably. It actually feels slightly unnatural to move the mouse so fast on such an old machine. I timed how long it took me to beat the first level with each mouse: 2:58 on the Nintendo one and 2:08 on the Hyperkin. I also managed to make it to the third level with the new mouse (second with the old one).

I missed @sYn's comment showing a separation for Mario's Early Years since the Hyperkin mouse is faster.
