Both in the same run too. Also I cannot fathom how 1:33 100% is possible. My SOB is 1:40 after 20 full runs. I’d have no clue how to dip below 1:40
Hey I found out what causes the random dropping of items in bonus games. It happens whenever 2 enemies collide with each other. Easiest way to avoid it is to not aggro them. Which if you do the games fast enough with my routing rarely happens.
World record for 100% is 1:30:33 on my Youtube Highly recommend watching it. You should be able to learn a lot (hasn't been watch/approved by mods yet.) This game is deceptively difficult it's not absurdly hard or anything but much harder than it looks.
On Dino Island the bridge is extremely notorious for being buggy. I found the best way to avoid is to steer very lightly when going onto the bridge and off of it Or not steer at all when crossing.
Best way for improving is just play the races many times and try to understand what is gaining and losing your speed. Maintaining high speed is extremely important as the car accelerates infinitely for the purposes of normal play. Always hold the Accelerator. There are only a few spots where you will want to let off the gas and you'll find them with experience.
When landing on the ground after bumps don't steer too sharply or it's a guaranteed slide. Slides lose a ton of time.

That sounds like some spaghetti code and a half. If any 2 cars collide sounds like the perfect 2001 shortcut. Wonder why it took me ~20 runs to see it once.
