New update added a 770HP engine for Scania, making it a tie with Volvo in terms of horse power. But this update also added G33 and G38 transmission (I actually don't think they differ xdd). It has the same last gear ratio as the Volvo transmission (0.78), but it also has a lower differential ratio than Volvo (2.59 vs Volvo's 2.64). And it seems like it isn't only faster on paper, it hits 180km/h with no effort

current fastest volvo holds 180+ and hits 192.

will need to test to be certain, should also take some data from the game files to stare at this time

data has been checked. yep, the truck should perform identically in some driving, be much better in some other (highway) driving, and be worse at nothing. just need to verify this in-game; the Scania R is only 100kg heavier than the volvo, but is more front-heavy. don't use the streamliner, it's 400kg heavier than the volvo and even more front-heavy.

oh very interesting! sadly a lot of point-point categories will remain untouched since i believe at least all the RTA ones are all on older patches. This also recently includes I-A RTA since latest introduced one extra service station in like Mannheim that made 1.53 the version to do those runs on (with all the others on much older versions)

although do note this is possible to change radically with the upcoming UK rework and possibly Ireland DLC, both could change basically all point-point categories (maybe even T-C) and bring with them this faster truck to the category
