I know I'm very late but the tower point merge basically completely overhauls these kinds of runs right? Like I'm assuming you can now complete towers in both worlds and the speedrun will still count. I might try and route an "unlock r9" run but I probably wont attempt one because I'm not good enough yet

I've been meaning to split Unlock Ring into Legacy/Current subcategories for a while but yeah the merge does change things quite a lot . Whenever I get around to doing this you'd still be able to run the Legacy category if you wanted to by only completing towers from one world

Thanks for confirming. When I make a route for a current "Unlock r9" run I might post it here too.

I'd say "Legacy" isnt a good name for a category you can still run, maybe One World/Multi World would be a better split?

Yeah that's fair actually

Oh and I have another question about pausing; I'm pretty sure that upon entering a ring, you can pause timer as soon as you have loaded in (or is it as soon as you start loading in?) to have a break or something. Would it also be alright to pause after exiting a winroom because it puts you back at spawn too?

Esperanto

Ya sure that would be fine . If you took a break after every tower or somthing not sure how id feel about that but aside from that

United Kingdom

hey @Massive ring 0 is out so the unlock ring speed run is invalid

United Kingdom

every run is invalid
